Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 from 10 am to 12:30 pm GMT
Overview

Come to demystify reading crochet patterns and learn 5 new stitches to add to your fabulous collection of crochet skills.

Have you mastered the basics of crochet but still find crochet patterns feel like a completely different language? You’re not alone—and this workshop has been created especially for you.

Requested by many enthusiastic crocheters, Louise has designed this session to help you confidently move beyond the basics and deepen your skills. Your host and tutor, Louise, is an experienced teacher and passionate crocheter who loves sharing her knowledge in a friendly, supportive way.

You’ll be guided through the different styles of crochet patterns, with a clear explanation of how they work and how to read them. Together, you’ll follow a simple symbol chart, breaking it down step by step so it finally starts to make sense.

In addition, Louise will introduce you to five new crochet stitches. You’ll have time to practise each one, create sample swatches, and take home a clear step-by-step guide so you can confidently use them in future projects and add extra flair to your crochet.

With just six attendees per session, there’s plenty of opportunity for personal attention, questions, and one-on-one support. The workshop takes place in a beautifully light, calm and relaxing space—perfect for unwinding, meeting fellow crafters, sharing tips, and enjoying a creative morning together.

Expect a welcoming atmosphere, lots of encouragement, a few laughs, and plenty of hot and cold drinks to keep you comfortable as you crochet and learn.
