Hugh Miller's Birthplace Museum is once again thrilled to be taking part in Cromarty Open Gardens in 2026

Join us at Hugh Miller's Birthplace in mid-June as we take part in the annual Cromarty Open Gardens!


  • Explore our two wonderful garden spaces, as well as countless other wonderful green spaces throughout the town! 🌻
  • Hugh Miller's Birthplace is once again hosting the brilliant plant stall where you can purchase plants grown in the gardens throughout Cromarty - all proceeds go towards caring for our historic cottage! 🪴
  • Our Scottish Geology Festival exhibit will also be running - take the opportunity to learn about Scotland's ancient past both in our museum and out in our Garden of Wonders! 🌿


Hugh Miller's Birthplace will be open from 11:00 to last entry 15:30
Other activities and businesses throughout the town subject to their own opening hours

Tickets for Open Gardens (£5 per person, U12s free) available at the Cromarty Links/Car park on the day.
Cromarty Open Garden ticket holders can enjoy FREE ENTRY to the museum at Hugh Miller's Birthplace.
