Crouch End radiates village-like calm. But what lies beneath the surface? &#x27;Crouch End Chronicles&#x27; lifts the lid on a world of strange characters, odd goings-on and a history that few would suspect. Readings and raucous anecdotes spotlight significant moments in its past, highlighting the musicians, artists, radicals, eccentrics and local characters that make N8 what it is.The performance takes place at Britain&#x27;s oldest comedy club, the Kings Head, in the heart of Crouch End. The cast includes Kate Walsh of BBC TV and Bernard O&#x27;Sullivan; with live music from Martina Schwarz and Joolie Wood.
