LearnMeABitcoin & Inspiring Co are delighted to announce the latest in our series of talks & workshops on Bitcoin, Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies.

This workshop brings together the Greg Walker from Learmeabitcoin.com and Joe Ratheram from Inspiring Co.

Greg Walker is well known in the cryptocurrency space for his Bitcoin mining education workshops at Bitcoin Manchester.

Greg's talk will include a simple introduction to blockchain technology and a visual explanation of the inner-workings of bitcoin mining using a live bitcoin mining rig.

Note: This workshop does not cover the aspects of running you own mining operation. Nonetheless, if you are running you own operation, this workshop will give you an insight in to what is taking place inside you computer as you are mining.

Joe's session covers the underlying elements that are fundamental to many crypto-currencies including the basics of the bitcoin protocol, digital signatures, secure hashing, how transactions are created and blocks are mined via proof-of-work on the Bitcoin blockchain.

You do not need to bring a laptop, or have a technical background whatsoever. All you need is an interest in understanding how bitcoin works.
