CSI Live Experiment: Testing phosphate methods with WRT
Join us for a fun, hands-on day testing Citizen Science Investigations phosphate methods with the Westcountry Rivers Trust team!
Get ready for our live CSI experiment event!
Join us with fellow volunteers and guest speakers for an interactive session exploring how our Citizen Science Investigations programme supports water quality monitoring, with a practical focus on repeatability and data interpretation.
Led by Westcountry Rivers Trust, this event centres on testing the repeatability of LaMotte phosphate test strips and Hanna Checkers, through a live, controlled experiment. The aim is to better understand what consistency and precision look like in a citizen science context—and what this means for using the data at a reconnaissance level.
We will also explore how the CSI method fits in the tiered monitoring approach, and can provide high value data.
To avoid disappointment, please respond to the Eventbrite link, as places will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there!
