Join the graduating students of the BA (Hons) Performance: Design and Practice course as they share their final projects, a series of short live works which challenges convention and unleashes raw ideas.CSM Alive is a platform for BA Performance: Design and Practice students to explore and push the boundaries of traditional and contemporary performance practice. The work presented is interdisciplinary, collaborative, and risk taking, drawing upon student’s practices and knowledges on space, body, object, time, movement, transmedia, film, immersive technologies, and text. Crossing disciplines, this course questions what performance is, how it is made and what it is for. Students on this course are encouraged to engage with collaborative practice as a fundamental part of their practice and often work with external companies and communities. Students gain an outwardly facing body of skills enabling them to become specialists within their chosen field reflective of current practices in creative industries. Students graduate to become performance makers, scenographers, costume designers, directors, film makers and art directors working across a wide range of the creative industries including theatre, film, fashion and immersive experience sector.
