An organisation’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can strengthen brand awareness and customer loyalty, attract top talent, provide opportunities for cost savings and build strong relationships with supply chain partners, all of which can result in increased long-term financial performance.

Something you may not have considered is that support for employee wellbeing can be an important part of a company’s internal CSR activity. Socially responsible organisations foster a culture where employees feel valued and connected, creating increased engagement, productivity and reduced absenteeism.

If you’re a business owner or manager looking to enhance your CSR strategy to drive business success and better align with employee values, come and join us for CSR & Wellbeing in Action live on Tuesday 10 June, 9:30am at Warrington Youth Zone.

Jack will share his empowering philosophy that 'You Can Become' the best version of yourself.

Jo Mills, EML – Understanding and addressing unethical and illegal practices should be a key part of any organisation’s CSR strategy. HR can play a significant role in reducing the risk of exploitation practices. As EML’s modern-day slavery expert, Jo will discuss her experience with the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) and the practical steps your organisation can implement to ensure operations and supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Sanjay Sharma, Green Economy - Environmental sustainability is an important component of CSR. Organisations engaging in sustainable practices improve their environmental footprint which brings cost savings, improved brand loyalty and employee engagement. Sanjay is the Engagement Officer for the Green Economy, an organisation that specialises in growing the green technology sector and support multi-sector businesses of any size to decarbonise and become more sustainable. Sanjay will discuss how your organisation can develop and implement carbon reduction plans to improve competitiveness and save money!

Stephanie Newton, Diamond Wellbeing - Deeply rooted in the values of CSR, Diamond Wellbeing is committed to helping organisations to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that reflects their social responsibility. Stephanie will introduce you to powerful therapeutic techniques which are used to relieve stress, anxiety and low mood, and help you to better understand why people experience these emotional responses.
