Training and development sessions for creative practitioners
Understanding diverse cultural contexts and developing inclusive art projects that resonate with different communities.
Shabina will be sharing insight from her career as a theatre maker, writer and producer. Her passion is hidden stories and creating work with people from a range of backgrounds and experiences. Her recent work includes ‘Bussing Out’ an oral history project, ‘Women’s Weekender’: A celebration of women creatives and activists from the global majority and ‘Right Queer Right Now’ a double weekender showcasing and celebrating new and emerging queer artists and community. This workshop will be an opportunity for you to come with a community in mind to explore ways in which to engage with them in a meaningful way and create work that is relevant to them.
