FACT Liverpool is the UK's leading media arts centre, based in Liverpool.Our award-winning FACT building houses three galleries, a café, bar and four cinema screens, run byPicturehouseand showing the best in independent and mainstream film. FACT also runs its own film programmes, focusing on classic and art house.Since the organisation was founded in 1988, we have commissioned and presented over 250 new media and digital artworks from artists including Pipilotti Rist, Nam June Paik, Bill Viola, Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Isaac Julien.Our Engagement and Learning programmes offer a range of opportunities for people to get involved with creative technology and digital projects, and our Research team works with partners across the creative industries, health, high education and arts sectors to develop innovative projects.

​​Join us for a special curator tour of our new exhibition, My Garden, My Sanctuary. FACT’s Curator in Residence, Carrie Chan will lead the tour, talking about the inspiration behind her curatorial process, the exhibition and its themes of ancestry and self-discovery. Take a closer look at each of the immersive artworks and uncover the research behind them, the technology used to create them and the journey they have taken from commission to presentation. The tour will last approximately 45-60 minutes.
