Curatorial Studio and Alliance Française Glasgow are delighted to welcome Le Peuple Qui Manque to present a talk on their work as curators. Aliocha Imhoff and Kantuta Quirós are filmmakers, art theorists and curators based in Paris, founders of the curatorial platform Le Peuple Qui Manque - a people is missing. It was created in 2005, and operates at the intersection of contemporary art and research. A people is missing also produce and distribute artists' films. You can find out more about them here. Among their latest curatorial projects and exhibitions are What Are They Asking For? To Become Something (Biennale de Lyon, 2019), A Debt of Times (exhibition at Konsthall C, Stockholm, 2018), The Trial of Fiction (Nuit Blanche, 2017), A Migrant Constituent Assembly (Centre Pompidou, 2017). Kantuta Quirós is Lecturer at the National School of Architecture of Nantes. Aliocha Imhoff teaches at Paris 1 University. They directed the publications Géoesthétique (B42, 2014) and Afropolitan Histories of Art, Multitudes (2014), and published Potentials of Time (Manuella Editions, 2016). They are currently developing Les Impatients, a film-essay. This event is presented in partnership with <a href="https://www.afglasgow.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Alliance Française Glasgow</a> as part of Curatorial Studio, a project devised by curator Kirsteen Macdonald and developed with <a href="https://sca-net.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SCAN</a>, supported by <a href="https://sca-net.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Scotland</a>.
