CUSP: Performance at Kosar Contemporary

Kosar Contemporaryis a new gallery in Bedminster. Bristol’s largest artist-led contemporary art gallery of its kind. The gallery hosts a curated programme of exhibitions that are relevant to the local community as well as the art world in the wider context.   ||The Artist Project Space (TAPS)is an artist-led initiative to help develop contemporary art practices through critical rigour, peer support, collaborations and exhibitions. TAPS aims to support painters, sculptors, multi-media, experimental and multi-disciplinary artists based in Bristol, UK, And create inclusive opportunities for nation-wide and international collaborations and exhibitions.The gallery is the vision of visual artist Béa Kayani, based at Paradise Studios, part of The Works, Gathering Voices' creative outreach and leadership quarter in BS3.

Kosar Contemporary

We are delighted to announce that on the evening of April 5th, 2019, Kosar Contemporary will host a sculptural performance by Isobel Adderley. 
CUSP - the transition between two different states, or the pointed end of a tooth. This performance examine how to be both;  still and moving, soft and hard, person and object; the flicker between two states; an exploration of the internal and external and how that flows within the space of the gallery.
Duration: 25 minutes. Free Admission
Supported by the Arts Council England Grants for the Arts, in 2019, CUSP has previously been performed at the National Justice Museum as a part of Nottingham City Takeover, Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston and now at Kosar Contemporary, Bristol.
