Cutting-edge Data Analysis, Visualization, and Simulation in the Cloud
Event Information
About this Event
Life science researchers are constantly generating novel tools and techniques, and with these emerge new data types and analytic methodology. Alongside the research, cloud computing has evolved to manage large amounts of data, allowing researchers across the globe to collaborate efficiently and in ways that were never before possible.
Agenda
Join MetaCell on Thursday, December 10th at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET / 4:00pm GMT, as we explore some of the ways researchers are harnessing cloud computing to:
- aggregate large multimodal datasets,
- streamline analytic pipelines,
- implement AI-based signal processing and analysis of imaging data,
- visualize data in compelling, interactive dashboards as a team,
- model physiological processes through immersive 3D simulations,
- make their science better.
At MetaCell, we bridge the gap between software engineering and biomedical research to create robust research software tools that function natively in the cloud. We're a team of biomedical scientists with specialty in molecular biology, neuroscience, and AI, backed up by a team of software developers with many years of experience advancing the next generation of research software for both academia and industry.
We'll be joined by Dr. Salvador Durá-Bernal, Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate, who worked with MetaCell to develop a novel open source neuronal simulation software that is gaining popularity amongst neuroscientists.
Start planning a more technology-driven research process today and find out how MetaCell can help you win funding for your next project.
Speakers
- Jerry Skefos, PhD – Director of Science Outreach, MetaCell
- Dr. Salvador Durá-Bernal – Assistant Professor, SUNY Downstate
