Cuttlefish Casting Workshop
Adult workshop led by Jacky Oliver.
Participants will be introduced to the technique of casting using pewter in a cuttlefish bone. Drawing directly into the cuttlefish bone to create a mould for the metal to be poured into. This simple technique is a great introduction to the potential of metalwork and casting. The final pieces can be taken home by participants.
The session is an introduction for those with no experience, and give those with prior experience the opportunity to develop new ideas creatively.
