Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes - it’s the perfect creative workshop for those without any experience and also suitable for those who wish to try a new craft.  You don't need to be able to draw - the beauty of the plants we use and sunshine will create our art for us.

What do I need to bring?

All the materials are provided for you.  We use water so you may want to wear something you do not mind getting wet.  And we will be using the classroom and outside, so comfortable shoes would be handy.

What’s the format of the workshop?

Really interactive.  I’ll guide you through the basics and then we will get hands on start creating, learning as we go.  We will prepare indoors away from the sunshine and then bring our creations outside to see the sunshine do its magic.

Is cyanotype easy to do at home?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  What’s great about it is that you don't need a lot of kit.  I will provide you with notes and ways to carry on developing what you have learned at home.  Most of the materials you will use are everyday objects.  You would just need to buy the special cyanotype solution.

Is it an accessible venue?
