Is this a learn to ride session?

No, All participants must be able to pedal their bikes without stabilisers.

How many people can take part?

This session is capped at 8 riders so we can work in very small groups with two coaches.

Do we need a special bike?

The sessions are mostly on grass so a bike with gears is an advantage but no, you do not need a special bike? If access to a bike is a barrier please contact our coaches.

Is this the same as Bikeability?

No. Bikeability has three levels and is designed to give riders the skills to undertake safe journies. Cycle Skools uses games and challenges to further hone or develop skills away from traffic. It wouldn't be safe to wheelie on the road but maybe that is where Cycle Skools can coaches help.
