CYENS Centre of Excellence (formerly known as RISE) is the Research Centre of Excellence in Cyprus focusing on Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies aiming to empower knowledge and technology transfer in the region. It is a joint venture between the three public universities of Cyprus - University of Cyprus, Cyprus University of Technology, and, Open University of Cyprus- , the Municipality of Nicosia, and two renowned international partners, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Germany, and, the University College London, United Kingdom.

CYENS Networking Event for  startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, investors and policy makers.

As a part of the CYENS  Centre of Excellence’s mission to drive innovation across multiple industrial sectors and support the entrepreneurship community, the Centre will be hosting a series of networking events to provide startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics, investors and policy makers a unique opportunity for intercommunal networking to encourage collaborations island-wide.CYENS Center of Excellence cordially invites you to the first of a series of networking events where you will have the opportunity to hear from our Research Director and Chief Innovation Officer about the work done by the Centre and enhance networking amongst our community. The event will be held between 06:00pm till 09:00 pm on the 5th of November 2021 at the CYENS CoE premises in Nicosia.Due to Covid restrictions limited spaces are available and registration is required. Please follow the register procedure on this page.*Please be reminded that as part of the current COVID-19 safety measures, you&#x27;ll be asked to present a SafePass at the entrance.
