It’s time to glow crazy for Tŷ Hafan Children&#x27;s Hospice and have fun in the dark! Run, jog or walk, join with friends, take your family or do it solo the choice is yours!We can’t wait to light up Cyfarthfa Castle and Park and see everyone waving their glow sticks in aid of local families.This epic 2.5k spooky fun run starts in the castle grounds, giving you stunning views of the lake. Then, you’ll go to the gardens and wooden country park, but don’t fret – they won’t be too scary for the little ones!Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! - and we’ll be giving a prize for the best costume.Sign up today and you will ensure that we can continue to be there for every family who needs us.Registration will open at 17:45pm with a set off time at 18:30pm – there is no time limit to complete the route in. What you will get when registering<ul><li>Entry into the ticketed event</li><li>A fully marshalled route</li><li>A large glowstick </li><li>Water kindly donated by Princes Gate</li><li>A bespoke medal </li><li>Fundraising support </li><li>Access to the Dark Runs Facebook group.</li></ul>There is no minimum sponsorship and the Principality Building Society will match fund your fundraising up to a total of £12,500 for the Cyfarthfa Castle Dark Run.What you need to knowEvery child must be accompanied by a participating adultEach adult can accompany a maximum of three childrenEveryone must bring a headtorch (these will not be provided)Event parking is at Cyfarthfa CastleThe castle cafe will be open to purchase hot food and drinksThis is a dog-friendly event, with one dog allowed per participant Your dog must be kept at your side on a short, handheld, non-extendable leadIt is not permitted to participate with a pushchair and a dog at the same time.The event is partially wheelchair accessible (please contact events@tyhafan.org to find out more)Pushchairs are allowed Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available.
