About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us under the Full 'Sturgeon' Moon. Using silent disco headsets we walk/move/ dance mindfully to a specially curated playlist. It's a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself, nature, the seasons, the environment around us and of course the moons natural cycles

We meet at the Parc Penallta main car park off Penallta Road, Ystrad Mynach where you will be given your own headset and LED torch to accompany you on this guided walk. The walk is a slow paced easy walk on grass or gravel with some slight inclines and occasionally some steps going up (but never down). Come ready to collect your headset and torch and be ready to start at 8.30 pm.

The sessions are suitable for adults and accompanied children 12 and over. We do not allow dogs at the event.

Contact me at fiona.winter@gmail.com if you have any questions about your suitability for the walk.

As long as you can walk for an hour on flat ground or a slight incline you should be fine. Occasionally we take a route that incorporates some steps going up....but we never go down the steps.

What do I need to bring with me?

If you have your own torch and prefer to use it please do so. Some people like to bring water. wear clothing and footwear that are suitable for the weather and terrain.

Where do we meet?

The main car park at Parc Penallta.....look out for the Black car with the Energy Moves logo, and people handing out headsets and torches.

Is there parking?

Yes, it is currently a free car park with lots of spaces.

What age is this suitable for?

Adults and accompanied children over 12.

Is it an accessible route?

The route is over grass or gravel and occasionally we go up steps (but never down steps), so is not suitable for wheelchairs.
