Part of Dance Mama’s new live online class programme, Pre/Postnatal Dance Class - Pro Level is a new, online, pioneering, dance session specifically designed to support parents who work professionally in the dance sector. The classes draw on Ballet &amp; Cunningham techniques with time to come together at the end. 5 session course : Wednesdays, 23 February - 23 March 2022, 10.30am - 11.45am.£45 (Those enrolled in Dance Mama&#x27;s &#x27;Dance Mama Live!&#x27; programme may access this block of sessions with a 30% discount - £30 - FREE to join <a href="https://forms.gle/oPpSFg2FsKkYajcC8" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>)This fun and uplifting dance session is led by Dance Artist and Mum, Lucy Balfour (Rambert, Royal New Zealand Ballet) who will mindfully guide you through a hybrid of ballet and Cunningham-based technique class designed with the maternal individual front and centre. Lucy will lead you through a grounding technical class that will give you the opportunity to explore alignment, posture and musicality, giving you the opportunity to move and be expressive and importantly, give you time to connect to yourself and your art form.How do I access it? All ticket holders will have receive an email with links to live sessions. Who can take part(Eligibility Policy)Dance Mama is committed to being inclusive for parents from all backgrounds. Our purpose is to create a designated space for postnatal parents to move, be creative, inspired and informed. Whilst being aimed at parents who have carried their child (in acknowledgment of the major biological changes that happen for them), we warmly welcome participants who have not carried their child, and/or do not identify as a &#x27;mother&#x27; or as &#x27;female&#x27; but do identify as a &#x27;Dad&#x27; or &#x27;parent,&#x27; with caring responsibilities for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. Dance Mama retains the right to refuse participation (through reviewing all registration forms) to anyone if we believe they are: - Under 18 years old and/or, - Not adhering to the code of conduct and is exhibiting behaviours that are harmful to themselves or others, or the project in this online opportunity, and/or, - may not have a genuine parenthood identity (as described above and in our registration form)- is under 6 weeks postpartum for safety reasonsThose enrolled in Dance Mama&#x27;s &#x27;Dance Mama Live!&#x27; programme may access this block of sessions with a 30% discount.
