Join Corali at Lambeth Town Hall for a joyful, immersive celebration of social dance, community and movement across this iconic civic space.

Lambeth Council and Corali, in collaboration with Extant, are delighted to present a new project celebrating the borough’s rich social dance heritage. The event takes place on the Day of Dance (8 March 2026), a key moment within Let's Dance! - a nationwide movement led by Angela Rippon that encourages people of all ages and abilities to get moving.

Against this national backdrop of celebration, the project reimagines Lambeth Town Hall as a living, breathing cultural space, transforming it into the setting of a participatory performance. By exploring social dance as a powerful expression of community, creativity and shared joy, Corali dancers will lead audiences on a journey of music, memory and movement through some of the Town Hall’s most remarkable rooms, including the Mayor’s Suite and the Council Chamber.

Expect a flavour of styles ranging from silent-disco-inspired moments to tea-dance nostalgia, house-party energy and joyful social dancing - perfect for a day dedicated to connecting and having fun through movement.

The project is supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

PLEASE NOTE:

THERE ARE THREE PERFORMANCE SLOTS (1–1:30pm, 2:15–2:45pm and 3:30–4pm), and you’ll be asked to select your preferred time when booking. As spaces are limited for each slot, we kindly ask that you attend the one chosen, as changes can only be made in advance and may not be possible on the day if the slot is full.

All performances will be creatively audio-described.
