A joyful, sensory and slightly messy(!) new dance performance created and performed by Bradford artist JoAnne Haines.

Mind the Gap

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCEUsing the space as a canvas, this vibrant experience is all about transformation, as JoAnne explores how art is in everything and everybody we encounter each day. This new inclusive performance has been co-created with audiences of learning-disabled people and families in Bradford. As well as having heaps of fun and seeing the full colour spectrum of the world around us, this new performance makes us consider the power of art, in being able to transform both spaces, but also how we feel and interact with others. Audiences will join learning-disabled artist JoAnne Haines to expressively dance with paint and create giant, colourful sheets of visual art. This new show explores just how performance can be made in collaboration with the audience and combines JoAnne’s experience as a performer and facilitator to celebrate creativity in everyone. Audiences can choose if and how they would like to participate and can simply observe if they wish. Seats will be available for those who wish.Everyone, all ages and abilities welcome.Dancing With Colours is commissioned by Bradford Producing Hub and Arts Council England, and supported by Mind The Gap. THE VENUE&#x27;Dancing With Colours&#x27; will take place at Mind The Gap, The Silk Warehouse, Patent St, Bradford BD9 4SADesigned and built to meet the needs of the company, Mind the Gap Studios are accessible for all.TICKET INFOTickets are available to book in advance for free and are Pay What You Decide.Pay What You Decide means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!Pay What You Decide allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price.At the end of the show, you can decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience.
