Community Iftar in Darlington with crafts, talks, prayer space & shared meal for all. Donations support Medical Aid for Palestinians

Join us for a Community Iftar in Darlington, hosted by Darlington Quaker Meeting at 6 Skinnergate.
Everyone—people of all faiths and none—is warmly invited to come together to share the Iftar meal with representatives of the local Muslim community.

Before breaking the fast, there will be family‑friendly arts and crafts, entertainment for young people, and short talks for adults about the meaning and traditions of Ramadan. Separate prayer spaces will be available for Maghrib (sunset prayer), along with facilities for wudhu (washing).

Local businesses including Babuls, East West Groceries and Bismillah are generously supporting the event.
All proceeds—from ticket sales and any donations—will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
