Darwin House and grounds

T﻿his exclusive tour of Darwin House and its grounds will show the progress that is taking place on a building that has been hidden from public view for over 100 years.  If the weather is wet or snowy this will limit our walk around the grounds but the area will be discussed and seen from within the House. Mobility is essential for this tour as this site is undergoing a transformation from the 19th century.  Access to the higher levels is by stairs only at this stage of development.

Walk around the birthplace of Charles Darwin, the family home. It is under new ownership and is going through a transformation.

The Mount House

<p>M﻿obility is essential for this tour of the house and grounds as the early 19th--century building only has stairs to reach the higher levels. Should the weather be wet or snowy our walk around the grounds may be restricted but an overview will still be possible. There is NO PARKING on site. The building is going through a transformation after being hidden from public view for over 100 years.    </p>
