Innovations in medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental conservation are all driven by life sciences.Within these disciplines, data is crucial and the potential for AI to transform life sciences is enormous. By analysing vast datasets with speed and accuracy, AI-powered tools have the potential to detect diseases early, streamline processes, and help to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges.Join us as we showcase examples of data &amp; AI in life sciences and discuss the future potential of these technologies!Speakers:<ul><li>Hugh Wallace - Chief Information Officer, Research Data Scotland</li><li>Dr Nicolas Rattray - Senior Lecturer, Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences</li><li>Dr Caroline Franco - Mathematical Modeller of Infectious Diseases, Institute of Applied Health Sciences</li></ul>SULSA and The Data Lab are teaming up to deliver a programme of activity bringing together Life Sciences with Data &amp; AI for the month of April. The programme aims to provide insights into cutting-edge research at the intersection of life sciences and data science being undertaken in Scotland. Creating an opportunity for industry, academics, students and staff in the SULSA network and TDL Community to make new connections. At the end of the programme SULSA and The Data Lab will launch our first joint Innovation Seed to support collaboration between industry and academia.------------------------------------Join a thriving network of over 6000 data &amp; AI professionals, students and enthusiasts.
