What you learn in this section will give you a strong foundation in all the areas that support analytics and will help you to better position yourself for success within your organisation.

Exploring your Dataset
This section covers the essential exploratory techniques for summarising data. These techniques are typically applied before formal modeling commences and can help inform the development of more complex statistical models.

Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies
You will learn best practices for how to use data analytics to make any company more competitive and more profitable. You will be able to recognize the most critical business metrics and distinguish them from mere data. We’ll explore the best choices for charts, based on the type of data you are using. We’ll look at specific types of charts including scatter plots, heat map, line charts and several others, and we’ll address charting guidelines.
