We understand that life can be busy and it can be tricky to fit everything in. That’s why our sessions are designed to fit seamlessly into your schedule.

The sessions are part of a rolling programme, available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, making it easy to find a time that works for you. Choose from multiple dates to suit your busy lifestyle.

These intensive, skill-building sessions are designed to accelerate your understanding and proficiency in functional maths skills.

Arrival from 09:00am to start at 09:30am.


Who is this for?

These sessions are for anyone wanting to prepare for a Functional Skills maths exam. There are 3 different topic areas: Number, Geometry and Data.

As part of the programme we are also offering you the chance to sit your Functional Skills Maths exam. Exams will be held monthly on a Friday, giving you a structured timeline to aim for and a clear path to certification.

What will be covered?

The Data session will cover all the topics you will need to know to sit a Functional SKills Maths exam.

  • Mean, median, mode and range
  • Data tables (two-way tables)
  • Estimating the mean
  • Simple probability
  • Scatter graphs

Please be aware that we have ANPR in operation on campus. You are not permitted to park in the car park and will incur a fine if you do.
