Data is at the heart of what we do as an organisation and better understanding the value of collecting, processing, and using data enhances the services we deliver to our citizens.

Join us at the second instalment of our Data Makes A Difference event series on Wednesday 24th April at 10am, Satinwood Suite, City Chambers.

Staff will have the opportunity to hear key notes from several Services from across the Council family, showcasing real world examples of how they are using data to make a difference. In addition, there will be live demonstrations featuring projects that are using data-lead solutions in their work.

On the day you will hear about many projects, including:

· Using Dashboards for Absence Analysis

· Enhancing our understanding of child poverty through data

· Utilising Artificial intelligence (AI) to determine how busy our city spaces are

· How our Traffcom team uses data visualisations to support decisions around traffic management

Taking on feedback from our first event, there is a revised timetable with the three featured key notes taking place from 10:30-11:15 allowing staff more time to visit the various projects and teams in the demo area and to talk with colleagues about how data can be used to improve our services.

The event is free however places are limited and due to the popularity of our first event we encourage signing up a ahead of time to avoid disappointment - we hope to see you there!
