Data Meetup - February 12th Event

Overview

Dive into the dynamic world of data at our upcoming meetup!

Hosted by Shaked Keidar in partnership with Humand Talent Solutions – a leading Talent, Staffing and Recruitment agency specialising in technical talent for tech start-ups and scale-ups and offering comprehensive recruitment solutions, ensuring an unrivaled service to both clients and candidates. Ask them about how great people can help you achieve success as a business in the short term and long term.

Shaked Keidar: Shaked Keidar is a computer to human translator. He understands a company or person's needs and turns them into a data, AI, or automation solution.

After years delivering SaaS and technical solutions for international organizations (including Bloomberg, VW, and pro sports teams), he shifted into data science and AI to unlock the stories hidden in data.

Today, as a technical co-founder, Shaked builds PlacesXP - a gamified tourism app for anywhere in the world, using AI.

With strengths in Python, SQL, visualization, and modern AI tooling, Shaked helps founders, teams, and individuals automate operations, improve decisions, and create measurable business value.

Speaker 1: - Dina Rozin - Dina brings an architect’s perspective to food systems transformation, approaching sustainability as a design challenge. She advocates for practical, low-tech solutions that improve food literacy for urban consumers while exploring rural lifestyles as a fair and viable part of sustainable urbanization. Inspired by work on food localization, soil health, and “food is medicine,” Dina is committed to shaping a food system that supports both human and environmental wellbeing.

Talk: Mixing It Up Or Connecting The Dots: Data Concerning Wheat

Speaker 2: - Guy Yona - Dr. Guy Yona - Guy Yona is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, where he studies how neural circuits encode movement and how these processes are affected in Parkinson’s disease. With a background spanning electrical engineering, physics, and neuroscience, he combines quantitative methods with experimental research to better understand brain function and dysfunction.

Talk: A Fast Hierarchical Framework for Detecting Temporal Clusters in Non-Stationary Signals

Following the talks, there will be a overview of the latest news in Data by Shaked and then we will all follow on to a local pub for continued conversations - all welcome.

This event is supported and hosted by The BIPC.
