A﻿ data strategy is essential to any modern organisation.B﻿ut what is a data strategy? How is it developed, and who implements it?I﻿n a recent poll of data and digital professionals, we found that:<ul><li>T﻿here is little consensus as to what tools should be used to create and maintain a data strategy, with 26 different tools logged from over 60 people polled.</li></ul><ul><li>T﻿here is little consensus at to who should build a data strategy, with 30 different roles logged from over 60 people polled.</li></ul><ul><li>A﻿nd there is little consensus as to who should own a data strategy, with 27 different roles logged from over 60 people polled.</li></ul>W﻿e at the National Innovation Centre for Data want to help kickstart the UK's data strategy ecosystem by hosting a Chatham House Rule-style roundtable session on Thursday 17th November from 10 a.m. In this session, we will share best practice, learn from each other, and establish a network of support for the development and implementation of data strategies.W﻿e would love it if you could join us for this free, invitation-only event.
