About this event
Data visualisation doesn’t have to be expensive, there are many free tools available. However, selecting the right tools, knowing how to uncover narratives within the data, and effectively engaging and communicating with your users are what make a visualisation truly impactful.
In this interactive half-day workshop, our trainers will guide you through the key principles of data visualisation. They’ll demonstrate how to identify the right stories for your audiences within the data, and how to prioritise the most relevant information for those audiences. You’ll also participate in exercises designed to help you create your own data visualisations using free tools.
Who should attend
This course is designed for individuals working with data who are seeking guidance on how to effectively engage their audience. No prior design expertise is required. This friendly and supportive workshop encourages you to explore and apply approaches to data visualisation.
