Costs Please note that all prices are published in GBP as that is the native currency of the company delivering the events. A current estimate for the AUD rate is provided by clicking the 'more info' links.
Online Payment Payment can be made through this site using PayPal or a range of credit card types. If you want to pay by credit card, when you reach the checkout page (which defaults to appearing like a PayPal only option), select the 'Check Out as a Guest' button and you will be guided to a credit card payment page.

Invoices can be provided in either GBP or the AUD equivalent rate.
Discounts Bookings made up to two months before the event date benefit from an 'early bird' discounted rate with £100 off the normal registration rate. For delegates who have previously attended Andy Kirk's previous one-day data vis workshop events (in 2015 and 2013) AND those people who participated in the online AMSRS data visualisation workshops during May 2017, a 40% discount is available, please email <A STYLE="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" HREF="mailto:%20andy@visualisingdata.com" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">andy@visualisingdata.com</A> to confirm your details and receive the code.
Class size The maximum class size is typically around 30-35, depending on the venue. This helps to create a supportive learning environment with plenty of one-on-one instruction as well as facilitating energetic dialogue within the group.
Times The workshop will commence on both days at 9:30 and finish no later than 17:00 on day one, 16:30 on day two. The room is available for arrival commencing from 9:00. There will be 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon sessions and lunch breaks of around 60 minutes.
Laptops Delegates are required to bring a wireless-enabled laptop to use as a workspace for many of the practical exercises. You will only require access to Excel, a pdf reader (eg. Adobe Reader) and a modern browser. You will need around 3 hours of charge during each day, power points will be available for charging. 
Refreshments Hot drinks and water will be provided on arrival and replenished after lunch. Lunch is not provided but the venue will be located with convenient access to nearby facilities. 
Delegate Cancellations 100% refunds are offered for delegate cancellations UNLESS the event is less than 7 days away OR it is over 60 days since you registered, in which case a 50% refund will be offered. If you wish to transfer your booking to another delegate, that is fine, but please inform the organiser if this situation arises. The best advice is to make sure you can definitely attend the training before booking!
Event Cancellations In the extremely rare event that a training course has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances you will be offered a choice of 100% refund OR the opportunity to attend an alternative workshop event. Refunds will be limited to registration costs: Visualising Data Ltd is not liable for any other costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation costs.
