This award-winning Irish-language documentary is a searing portrait of Dundalk singer/songwriter David Keenan. Director Paddy Hayes follows Keenan through a deeply personal creative period as he writes and records his album Modern Mythologies. Shot over 500 days, the documentary looks into his creative process and reflects on the challenges of artistic authenticity in a world dominated by social media and algorithms. Winner of the ‘Best Cinematography Award’ at Docs Ireland, Focla ar Chanbhás has been noted for its lyrical, intimate portrayal of Keenan.
