Today’s ultra-connected world allows anyone to upload content and be the next viral hit, but becoming the next online star is not that simple! How do you go about getting your work ‘out there’ effectively and what can you do to help yourself get noticed?

This session will help you set smart objectives and give practical tips to help you get noticed, including getting the most out of the various social media platforms, the benefit of using blogs and vlogs, building an online collaborative network, using online profiles, and how to build 'brand you' online.

This masterclass is led by Steve Cole, a new media strategist and founder of consultancy Colehouse Digital. He's worked with many young filmmakers who predominantly produce content for the internet. Whether working with a new media creators or brands such as Twitter, Sky Sports or ITV News, his job is to help people or campaigns get noticed online.
