This time we're talking about mobile apps.
From native, hybrid to progressive web app, mobile apps have taken the world by storm. Companies such as Forbes, have jumped on the bandwagon and created a seamless application, made to cater to their users without having to download anything from the app store. This has made accessibility, engagement and the simplicity of using the app, skyrocket.
Which app is best for you? Are you creating eye popping media or something more humble? What are the advantages and disadvantages? We will tackle some of the industries burning questions about mobile apps and help you to understand not only what app is best for your business, but why.
We have 2 speakers lined up:
• First Nicolas Alpi , CTO at CookiesHQ, will explain what the different types of apps are, their pros and cons and give us some tips on how to choose the right app for your product.
• Then Mark Wheatley, Head of Discovery at Cookpad, will talk about fixing app retention with user onboarding. App retention, especially first-day churn, is a huge challenge for many companies. Mark will take us through Cookpad's approach to solving this problem by focusing on the onboarding and first-time-usage experience.
