Aimed at  Staff & Trustees with overall responsibility for  safeguarding,  disciplinary & investigatory meetings and HR roles

The second in a series of regional online Safeguarding events co-ordinated by PAVS, Carol Eland , the Regional Outreach Adviser (Wales) from the Disclosure &amp; Barring Service will cover the following : •	Understand the benefits of DBS and you (employer) working together•	Understand the three different referral routes•	Understand when a DBS Barring referral should be made, including when the legal duty is met •	Understand Regulated Activity / Relevant Conduct and Harm Test •	Understand how to make a good quality referral •	Have a clear understanding of the consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and the consequences of being included in one or both Barred Lists•	Myth Busting Quiz Followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
