This webinar will provide an overview of the role of the DBS, eligibility for DBS checks, as well as when the legal duty to refer exists.

This webinar is for NHS Trusts and NHS Integrated Care Boards in the South East of England and will be delivered by the DBS Regional Outreach Adviser for the area.

This webinar will provide an overview of the role of the DBS, eligibility for DBS checks, as well as an organisations duties and responsibilities in regard to making barring referrals. The session will last around 45 minutes with time for questions and is aimed at those who are involved in the recruitment of staff or volunteers, those who have safeguarding responsibilities, management of individuals in Regulated Activity, or who would be involved in making barring referrals to DBS.
