DBS Safeguarding Dual Training Workshop - Eligibility, Barring & Referral

This two-hour workshop, focusing on the Voluntary and Community Sector, will cover:-

• When an employee is eligible for a DBS check
• DBS Update Service
• What regulated activity is
• The three different barring referral routes
• When a DBS barring referral should be made, including when there is a legal duty to refer
• How to make a good quality referral
• The consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and being included on one or both Barred Lists.

Owain - Regional Outreach Adviser - from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be delivering this online training session.
