An online seminar on the recent report - De-carbonising Masterplans
This webinar is the first in a series bringing engineering and urban design together. Too often, specialists still work in silos. Urban Designers are sometimes uncertain on how to meaningfully input into engineering proposals. Engineers sometimes feel misunderstood over the need to apply regulations or require detailed design resolutions.
This event provides insight into what is at stake, how to avoid baking in high carbon-emissions in new development and how to make practical progress in new development.

- What are the most effective steps designers and engineers can take to ensure de-carbonisation?
- How do you make interdisciplinary collaboration work?
- Where does collaboration fall down?, for example - earthworks not considered early enough in the masterplan design stages... earthworks can have a huge impact.
