Using de Romanis in remote teaching? Keen to hear more about how to deliver the course most effectively in these circumstances?
 Angela Cheetham and Katharine Radice will be running a short webinar on Thursday 11th Feb at 4.45pm to discuss teaching approaches they have been using with their own students. 
The webinar will cover:
●	how best to use materials to keep students enthusiastic about Latin and the Roman world
●	the online resources available to support learning
●	how to generate assessment models which give regular feedback to students and which are time-efficient for marking
●	how to build in tasks which allow students to take a break from their screens. 
A Q&amp;A session will take place at the end with a chance to ask your questions. The webinar is scheduled to finish at 5.30pm. Leave your questions for Katharine and Angela on your event registration form.

de Romanis is an introduction to both the Latin language and the cultural world of the Romans. It also develops English literacy skills through derivation tasks and two-way translation exercises, which promote the understanding of English as well as Latin. Cultural topics, supported by background notes, and primary sources, included for study and analysis, enable students to engage with authentic Roman history and acquire a broad understanding on which to build in future study.
