Who is this workshop for?

Anybody who has challenges around the idea of death. Maybe fears about your own death, difficulties about the deaths of others or a sense of inadequacy supporting other people. Maybe you feel you've just never had a chance to talk openly and ask questions on the subject - now you can.

Great. Come along. You are welcome to listen and share as you wish

Do I have to share?

Accepted Answer

Nobody HAS to do anything in this workshop. If you'd like to just sit and listen then that's fine. If you change your mind and want to say something, that's fine. If you burst into tears or can't stop the nervous laughter, that's fine.

Have you done this before?

I have run similar workshops in Bali and Sydney. This is the first one in London, though I've run some Death Cafes here

How is this different to a Death Cafe

Accepted Answer

Death Cafes are a standard format used all over the world. They are very open sharing spaces. This workshop is different because it is more structured - a mix of soace for you to share and content from my book and lived experience

Is a Shamanic Healer like a witch doctor

Accepted Answer

Traditional healers exist all over the world, and many terms have been used to describe them - some more respectful than others. It is perfectly possible to be part of organised religion or use Western medicine alongside accessing the kind of energy or spiritual healing that a Shaman uses.

What does a Shamanic Healer have to do with death?

Accepted Answer

Often people come to me because their loved one is dying or has died. They want to understand if the person has had a smooth passage, if they are OK, wherever they are. Or if something is holding the person back from dying, to offer them healing and peace of mind.
