A new women's work, wellness and community space in Queen's Park, NW6.

The Hearth

Hosted by Mourning Projects, this Death Café aims to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.

</h2><p>Have you ever felt alone with thoughts around death and wanted to explore this topic with open-minded people?

</p><p>Mourning Projects and the Hearth are running a Death Café, which is a group directed discussion where people can talk about death, find meaning, ask questions and reflect on what’s important. We will welcome you to the space with cake, tea, warmth, and curiosity.
</p><p>
</p><p>Mourning Projects aims to create a space where you can acknowledge life, what you have lost, and everything in-between. Death and grief often remain overlooked, shrouded in uncertainty and fear. The reality is that death makes life whole. We have created an experiential project with various entry points where you can contemplate your relationship with death.

</p><h2>A﻿bout Mourning Projects</h2>

<p>The space will be facilitated by Rebecca and Cassandra, a death doula and a trainee psychotherapist who works as a bereavement counsellor in a hospice. We are a partnership founded in a shared belief in the importance of talking about dying. Mourning Projects was created to give people a space to welcome death in and explore it's meanings and manifestations.</p><h2>A﻿bout The Hearth</h2>

<p>The Hearth is a women's space in Queen's Park (North London) where women can find room for themselves to live, work and feel better. The community of diverse women enjoy full co-working facilities, wellness treatments, a relaxing evening lounge and thoughtfully curated events.
