Join us in person to share knowledge and experience in developing decision support tools (DST) in healthcare
Decision Support Tool Workshop
Join us in person for our Decision Support Tool Workshop!
A decision support tool (DST) is an evidence-based, structured framework—often a checklist or digital system—designed to guide, organise, and inform decision-making in healthcare. It helps professionals and patients weigh treatment options, risks, and benefits, often facilitating shared decision-making.
DSTs are being used across the NHS, and we want to bring people together from a range of disciplines to share practice and learn to accelerate delivery of DSTs.
The full agenda will be circulated shortly, but we will have a range of speakers from different disciplines presenting topics including frameworks for DSTs, examples of DSTs in different disciplines, future planning and models, and a workshop to end the session.
Objectives:
- Understand what a decision support tool is and their place in healthcare.
- Bring together people with a shared interest to accelerate delivery of DSTs across a range of disciplines.
Full agenda and room location to be confirmed, but lunch will be provided.
We will be confirming attendance closer to the time as spaces are limited.
