Decision Support Tool Workshop

Join us in person for our Decision Support Tool Workshop!

A decision support tool (DST) is an evidence-based, structured framework—often a checklist or digital system—designed to guide, organise, and inform decision-making in healthcare. It helps professionals and patients weigh treatment options, risks, and benefits, often facilitating shared decision-making.

DSTs are being used across the NHS, and we want to bring people together from a range of disciplines to share practice and learn to accelerate delivery of DSTs.

The full agenda can be seen below, and we will have a range of speakers from different disciplines presenting topics including frameworks for DSTs, examples of DSTs in different disciplines, future planning and models, and a workshop to end the session.

Objectives:

  • Understand what a decision support tool is and their place in healthcare.
  • Bring together people with a shared interest to accelerate delivery of DSTs across a range of disciplines.
