Join 2500 fans of anime, games and comics as Dundee’s largest and longest running con returns on Saturday 15 April 2023. Dee CON is a great day-out with a variety of attractions to suit all ages. Food and drink are available all day and there’s a licensed bar and after party for older attendees.Starting at 10:30am, Dee CON will be held across five venues on the University of Dundee Campus. Dee CON will feature Cosplay competitions, Artists’ Alley, trader tables, video gaming, cartoon and anime character wrestlers, film screenings, board games and workshops. Food and drink are available all day from four different outlets on site.After 8pm we’re expecting 900 people to return for the Dee CON After Party for a night of licensed entertainment. This year the After Party features a K Pop club night, 30 piece big band, karaoke, video and board games, a quiz and a late-night film screening.With tickets from only £6 and free admission for children aged nine-years-old or under, Dee CON remains one of Scotland’s most affordable cons. Dee CON is open to the general public and under 18s are welcome until 7pm. Anyone aged 13-years-old or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you think you may want to buy alcohol, please bring photographic proof of DOB (e.g. passport or driving license)Please note that this year check-in will be returning to Balfour Street and the DUSA Building and NOT outside the Bonar Hall as per 2019 and 2022.
