The walk will last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the pace of the group. It may run over a little.

What is the route like?

The route goes through Bute Park, Pontcanna, and Blackweir Fields on easy and mainly well-surfaced paths, including some grass-covered areas if not too wet.

What happens if it's raining?

The walk will be cancelled if the weather is too extreme or likely to make conditions unsafe.

All are welcome to participate. However, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Wear footwear suitable for walking on varied surfaces, as some areas may be damp and muddy if it has rained. Dress appropriately for the weather, which might include a waterproof jacket, sun cream, sun hat, and warm clothing.

Bring a drink and snack, as we will make several stops along the way but will not be using any café facilities during the walk.
