Join Us for the Deepfake Detection Challenge Live26!
UK Home Office in-person event - 26-29 January 2026, London
We are pleased to invite you to Deepfake Detection Challenge: LIVE ’26 - an immersive, adversarial, and highly interactive event bringing together leaders from government, industry, academia and technology to confront one of the UK’s fastest-moving digital threats.
Across four high-intensity days, teams will experience live RED vs BLUE challenge rounds where sophisticated deepfake threat scenarios are unleashed and real-time detection tradecraft is put to the test. Using the new UK Deepfake Detection Dataset, they will battle to expose synthetic media designed to disrupt, deceive and destabilise, offering a rare window into the current threat landscape and the capabilities the UK must harness to future-proof against what comes next.
LIVE ’26 builds on a year of national benchmarking and trials, delivering clear insight into how we strengthen national security, safeguarding, resilience, election integrity and public trust in an era of accelerating generative AI.
Who will be attending?
RED team: Under Cover Online (UCOL) teams, researchers, forensic specialists and technical offensive capability who will provide data for scenario-based challenges.
BLUE team: deepfake classifiers, media-analysis tools, OSINT tradecraft, forensic specialists, behavioural scientists, fact checkers and other disciplines to explore wide ranging approaches and techniques and evaluate the efficacy of each.
