We’re so looking forward to welcoming two truly wonderful musicians — Deirdre Cartwright & Alison Rayner — for what promises to be a very special evening of guitar-led swing, Latin grooves and beautifully crafted music.

Expect classic tunes by Horace Silver, Grant Green, Wes Montgomery and more, alongside fresh interpretations of standards and original compositions full of warmth, spirit and invention.

Deirdre and Alison’s musical friendship stretches back to the mid-70s and has travelled across decades of extraordinary collaborations — from touring internationally with the legendary jazz-Latin group The Guest Stars, to founding Blow the Fuse, and creating their own acclaimed projects including the Deirdre Cartwright Group and ARQ. Many will also remember Deirdre as the guitarist and presenter on the iconic BBC series Rockschool.

Their shared musical language runs deep, and you can feel it in every note they play together.

Alison’s quintet ARQ — featuring Deirdre — continues to play sold-out concerts, including Ronnie Scott’s, following the release of their acclaimed new album Sema4. Meanwhile, Deirdre has just recorded a new album with her organ trio Organik, featuring Pete Whittaker, due for release later this summer.
