DEL Conference

Digitally Engaged Learning (DEL) conference is a free and online international conference exploring teaching and learning in art and design.

<h2>#DEL22</h2><p>For over fifteen years, DEL has been a place to share, explore, and evolve our digitally engaged teaching and learning in art and design. Over this time, we have transitioned to a free and online conference with anonymous peer review to maintain rigor and open access.</p><p>The conference is online and will be hosted by Penn State.</p><p>We welcome educators, students, researchers, technicians, instructional designers, artists, makers, art historians, digital humanities scholars, and others across all creative disciplines. </p>

<h2>Theme: Divides: Teaching, Bridging, Learning</h2><p>Post-pandemic art and design education has asserted a radically digital architecture of online and hyflex spaces of learning. These trends were not unanticipated. The DEL community has long developed strategies, innovations, and engaged practices in teaching creative practice in relation to digital progressions. What appears different in this moment is the sheer volume and pace of adoption. Our extreme conditions have conjured a pressure cooker of digital effects to teaching and learning that have irrevocably changed modes of delivery and architectures of learning in higher education.</p><p><a href="https://www.digitallyengagedlearning.net/2022/theme" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Learn more about the theme.</a></p>

<h2>About DEL</h2><p>The Digitally Engaged Learning (DEL) conference has been running annually since 2005, supported by an international partnership of art and design institutions of higher education.
