About This Event
The event provides a platform to explore the growing challenges associated with deliberate firesetting, drawing on the latest research, operational insights, and multi-agency best practice.
The event will examine:
- Current trends in deliberate firesetting globally, supported by data, analysis and hotspot intelligence from GMFRS and partners
- Evidence based interventions, including youth engagement programmes, adult firesetting interventions, place - based prevention models, and tools such as the GMFRS Deliberate Fire Tool and FireStoppers
- International perspectives, with contributions from IFIRE partners across the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK
- Action oriented workshops aligned to topics such as deliberate fire, arson reduction and anti-social behaviour
Designed to encourage collaboration, innovation and shared learning, the summit aims to develop practical recommendations, strengthen cross sector partnerships and drive forward a coordinated approach to preventing deliberate fires, reducing harm, and protecting communities.
Whether contributing as a speaker, practitioner, researcher, sponsor or delegate, attendees will play a pivotal role in shaping national and international practice in firesetting prevention and behavioural interventions.
