Please note: this is an in-person session for unpaid carers (not professionals), held at Bournville Parish Community Centre, Sycamore Rd, Bournville, B30 2AA.

In this session we will explore what delirium is, and what carers should look out for and act on. We will also look at techniques for safely managing changes in the behaviour of the person you care for.

This session is for you if you would like to:

  • Learn more about the kind of changes in behaviour you can expect when caring for someone with dementia
  • Gain ideas and strategies to safely manage behaviour changes
  • Spend time with experienced healthcare professionals who will answer your questions in a safe, supportive environment
  • Meet other people who are taking care of a friend or family member with dementia in a similar situation
